Walking Safari

This package specializes in complete walks or part–walking/part-driving safaris at Ngorongoro Conservation Area highlands and other places of interest. Several of these remote areas are excellent for nature leisure and adventure walking safaris, which are offered and best planned for the dry season between JUNE to MARCH through DECEMBER. You will learn a lot from us and witness among the strongest features of our Tanzania cultural way of life which is based on the practice of unconditional collective hospitality and has been built in us from the early Stone Age days.

Walking safaris in Africa, especially Tanzania is fun – involves traveling with your camp equipment, your guide, and a cook in your vehicle with you. A small temporary camp for a night under the stars in a remote part of the bush is set, ideal for a day’s walking safari – with comforts – washing water, hurricane lamps, drinking water, and delicious food cooked on the open fire.

A walk through the Savannah-African bush is a wonderful way to experience Tanzania intimately. Smells and hearing of sounds of an assortment will always become distinct, and varied from smaller and bigger creatures gain significance.

Walking safaris include: –

  • Nature tours
  • Vanishing cultures
  • Journeys into remote tribal land s

There is no better way to learn about history than through walking and socialization. Along the trails, guests can enjoy special events like cultural dances, shop for antiques, or check out numerous local social sectors. Most of our lovers come to Tanzania with the attitude of simple learning that is socialization with the local people and the use of storytelling, physical, emotional, and spiritual dimensions of learning as a tool. In case you lack love in terms of human affirmation, respect, and unconditional acceptance; it will not be easy to learn our language, culture, and cultural values. We take our groups of walkers from the base camp with Guides and other Crews and at times Game Scouts accompany Groups. We provide all necessary camping equipment & supplies such as tents, and enough drinking water to avoid dehydration. A diet high in carbohydrates will help to provide the energy needed for walking/trekking/hiking. During your Walking Safari, we will combine cultural visits whereby Tourists have to take something truly local and turn it into a learning method for all to enjoy – residents and visitors.
