SAFARI OVERVIEW
We organize and arrange Gorilla safaris to the well known Volcanoes National Park, also known as Parc National des Volcans in french and Pariki y’Igihugu y’Ibirunga in native Kinyarwanda located on the north-western province of Rwanda in a small town known as Musanze.
Volcanoes National Park borders Virunga National Park in DRC and Mgahinga Gorilla National Park in south-western Uganda. Besides its huge population of Mountain Gorillas, this park also harbors the endangered Golden Monkeys, primate specie that apparently offers the best diverse tourism activity within the national park at the moment.
Right next to Uganda and DRC borders, where Virunga Volcanic Mountain Ranges, stretches the famous Volcanoes National Parks located in RWANDA. Along with the National Parks in nearby Uganda and DRC, Volcanoes National Parks harbours the mountain Gorillas.

Gorilla Trekking Facts :
Gorilla watching trips are an incredible experience, with baby gorillas clinging to their mothers as silverback gorillas watch over them protectively. Rules state that visitors must maintain a safe distance, but the gorillas don’t always follow the rules.
Gorillas live in groups. Groups of gorillas are called troops or bands. A band of gorillas can have as many as 50 members, though sometimes a band consists of as few as two members. Troops are led by a dominant male, called a silverback, which can often be identified by a gray strip of hair on his back.
Each time of day has its purpose for a troop of gorillas. Mornings and evenings are designated as feeding time. In the middle of the day, gorillas take a nap, play with other gorillas or groom one another. At night, the gorillas settle down in beds, made from leaves and twigs, to sleep
